& Collaborations

“Biolume”

BMW x India Art Fair

Immersive light and sound installation inspired by oceanic bioluminescence, featuring algorithmic visuals, reactive lighting, and spatial sound.
Dennis led concept development, sound design, interaction design, animation, and sensor integration.
Collaborator: Cursorama

“ Flow. 0 ”

“Flow.0”

ST+ART India Foundation, Mumbai, India

An immersive light and sound installation inspired by the natural flow and turbulence of water. 160 suspended light fixtures recreated water patterns using custom algorithms, accompanied by an electronic soundscape shaped by organic rhythms.
Dennis conceived the piece as a digital meditation on fluid dynamics in urban environments. He led the concept, lighting and sound design, programming, embedded coding, and full technical integration.

Dennis Process

For Flow.0, Dennis began by studying the motion patterns of water—its flow, turbulence, and rhythm—and translated these into digital behaviors using generative algorithms. He designed a custom light grid of 160 fixtures suspended in space, each mapped to simulate water dynamics in real-time. The soundscape was crafted to mirror these patterns, using electronic textures shaped by organic timing structures. From CAD drawings and prototyping to embedded coding and audiovisual syncing, the project was developed through a hands-on iterative process that fused architecture, physics, and code.

“ Bionic Bloom ”

“Bionic Bloom”

Crescent School of Architecture, Chennai, India

A kinetic, interactive installation mimicking the shape and movement of a blooming flower. Designed to introduce students to fabrication, computational design, and sensor-driven interactivity, the sculpture responds to its environment with dynamic motion.
Dennis co-led the project as an academic workshop, designing the mechanical structure, CAD systems, embedded electronics, and interaction logic. His focus was on translating natural forms into responsive mechanisms through iterative prototyping and real-time control systems.
Collaborator: Digital Intuition

Dennis Process

Dennis developed Bionic Bloom through a four-month collaborative workshop. Starting with mechanical sketches, he engineered the bloom’s movement using 3D-printed parts, servo motors, and custom electronics. He designed the interaction system to respond to environmental triggers, integrating sensors and embedded code to animate the sculpture. Alongside students, he introduced parametric design and hands-on fabrication methods, making the installation both a learning tool and a public art piece rooted in nature-inspired technology.

“ Neural Sanctum ”

“Neural Sanctum”

Namastey NFT, Bengaluru, India

An immersive, interactive installation reimagining the sacred architecture of Indian temples through the lens of artificial intelligence. Comprising a tunnel and a central sanctum, the piece invites participants into a meditative, tech-driven spatial experience, blending ancient spatial symbolism with futuristic interaction.
Dennis conceptualized the tunnel section as a transitional space into an AI-powered sanctum. He developed the CAD drawings, visual language, sound design, interaction systems, and sensor integration for the tunnel. His focus was to create a ritual-like passage that responds to human presence using light, visuals, and sound.
Collaborator: Cursorama

“ EyeMyth ”

“EyeMyth”

Eye-Myth Media Arts Festival · Goa, India

A projection-based installation using real-time computer vision to generate evolving portraits from festival participants’ faces. The work created ephemeral, algorithmically layered visuals that reflected identity as fluid and constantly reshaped by data.
Dennis conceptualized and developed the installation as a personal exploration of digital perception. He handled programming, projection setup, and interaction design, using OpenCV to build a custom face alignment algorithm that generated new image compositions live.
Collaborator: Parizad D (Portrait Photography)

“ GM ”

“GM at ACETECH”

GM Modular · Mumbai & Delhi, India

An interactive LED wall installation designed for the ACETECH 2023 Expo, blending tactile and motion-based interactivity with branded digital visuals. The screen responded to user gestures with ripple effects and silhouette tracking, reflecting the dynamic identity of GM Modular.
Dennis led the development of the interactive system, including motion tracking, sensor integration, visual coding, and real-time response logic. He shaped the experience to evoke a sense of discovery and engagement while visually aligning with the brand’s futuristic vision.

Mumbai Light Festival (Proposal)

Mumbai, India

A conceptual light installation designed around illuminated paper boats, intended to reflect the city’s relationship with water. The design featured LED wireframe structures with colored acrylic panels, creating slow-revealing animations that mimic the gentle movement of floating vessels.
Dennis envisioned the piece as a poetic response to Mumbai’s maritime identity, using minimalist forms and ambient lighting to create an emotional, site-sensitive experience. He led the conceptual design, visualization, and lighting sequence planning.

“This City Swells”

British Council India (Selector Pro Residency), Mumbai, India

A music video and audiovisual composition reflecting the layered urban textures of Mumbai through maps, land-use diagrams, and sound. The piece explores the emotional and sensory experience of navigating the city using audio-reactive visuals.
Dennis conceived, composed, and produced the work during an arts residency focused on Indian urbanism. He led the music production, visual direction, and animation, using algorithms to create a real-time relationship between sound and visual form.
